Hoarders
Has any body seen the show on The Learning Channel (TLC) called Hoarders?
Well I seen part of a show a couple of months ago and was disgusted how these people live in a house full of junk.
Well there was nothing else on tonight so I watched part of another episode. At the start it said that 3-5 % of the population of the USA has OCD. And about a third of them were hoarders. So apparently they think it is a mental disorder to live like a retarded pig.
It started out by showing the outside of an old bungalow or rancher. Then they showed the mother outside leaning on a late model Audi. They explained that she used to be a nurse. She explained how she shot her boyfriend 10 years ago after he attacked her in a drug rage.
Shift to the inside of the house. They explain she lives there with her 21 year old son. They show a fat bastard lounging on a couch playing video games. He has purple highlights in his hair and black nail polish on his finger nails. Now the show I seen before involved folks who hoarded or collected so much stuff that their house was full of junk. Not these two; there house was full of garbage. And it was a filthy bug infested place. The stove didn't work, the sink was plugged up so they had no running water in the kitchen, hence no dishwasher. The bathroom was repulsively dirty. The only thing that worked in the kitchen was the microwave, and it was also filthy. The ate food that could be nuked on paper plates and then just threw them on the floor. They ordered food and then threw the containers on the floor.
The mother goes on to explain that she never thought she would be alive (referring to the boyfriend's attack one might assume) so all this doesn't seem so bad.
Might this be only a decadent western type of mental disorder? I didn't see any mud houses in Afghanistan full of collectibles or even trash. Maybe these two decided to fill their house full of garbage just to make a little money off of TLC?
I think that she is probably a meth head just like her dead boyfriend and probably did lots of drugs while pregnant with junior. I'm sure that these are the types that Adolf referred to when he described "useless ration eaters".
American TV and civilization is tuned to the trailer park trash. They don't know how good they have it. And as good as they have it, it isn't even better than those folks who travel around Pacific islands shrinking heads.

Carla Del Ponte investigated
The former lead prosecutor of the United Nation’s International War Crimes Tribunal is being investigated after allegations of wrongdoing.
According to a report in London’s Guardian newspaper, Del Ponte and two other Hague, Netherlands, prosecutors were accused in June of harassing witnesses, taking bribes and using tainted evidence while pursuing war-crimes cases. While Hague officials immediately came to her defense, an independent inquiry over the next six months will assess the case. If the evidence is shown to be conclusive, it will be the first time in 17 years that a lead prosecutor will face contempt-of-court charges, reports said.
Del Ponte served at Hague from 1999-2007 and is currently the Swiss ambassador to Argentina. In 2009 she released a memoir, “Madame Prosecutor,” which includes accounts of her case against former Serbian President Slobodan Milosevic and dozens of others for war crimes in the Balkans.
This comes as no surprise to me that the kangaroo court is being investigated.

Mom says she killed kids before driving car in river
ORANGEBURG, S.C. — Investigators didn't believe it when a woman said her two young sons drowned after her car plunged into a river. She ultimately confessed to killing the toddlers, they say -- not by dumping them in the water but by suffocating them earlier with her own hands.
Broke, jobless and berated by her mother for her failings, Shaquan Duley killed the boys, ages 2 years and 18 months, then strapped their bodies into their car seats before rolling the vehicle into the North Edisto River in a desperate coverup attempt, authorities said Tuesday.
"She truly felt, 'If I don't have these toddlers, I can be free,"' Orangeburg County Sheriff Larry Williams said at a news conference. "I think she was fed up with her mother telling her she couldn't take care of the children, or she wasn't taking care of the children, and just wanted to be free."
The state agency responsible for child welfare in South Carolina said it has had no involvement with Duley
What the heck is wrong with the USA's society that this can happen in this day and age? She also had a 5 year old daughter along with the 2 year old and 18 month old boys. Can she not afford birth control? Is the pill something you have to pay for down in the US. Condoms are cheap enough.
How the Americans can say they live in the best country in the universe baffles me sometimes. There are obviously too many of their citizens living on the poverty line with no jobs. And how can they invade other countries with the supposed purpose of bringing democracy to these lands before they sort out their own country problems?
Of course the US government doesn't hold all the blame. Some people are just feeble minded and disrespectful of human life. And I guess it could have happened in any country. A previous case in South Carolina ended up with life for Susan Smith after she put her sons into her car and rolled it into a lake.
I hope Shaqan Duley rots in prison also.

Charges dropped in Buffalo shooting rampage
The chief prosecutor in Buffalo, N.Y., got a judge to dismiss murder charges against a man who had been accused of opening fire outside a downtown Buffalo restaurant, killing four people and wounding four others.
Erie County district attorney Frank Sedita says photo evidence and witness statements do not back up the charges against 25-year-old Keith Johnson of Buffalo.
Johnson had been charged with four counts of second-degree murder in the shootings outside City Grill early Saturday. The charges were dismissed Sunday morning.
Johnson is still being held on a parole violation and could be rearrested if authorities change their minds.
Daniel Derenda, the police commissioner, said there was plenty of evidence to charge Johnson, including witnesses who identified Johnson by name.
Managers had decided to close the City Grill in the city's business district after an altercation inside. The victims were leaving at about 2:30 a.m. ET when a man who had been inside began shooting, police said.
"There were verbal things going on," said Dennis Richards, the chief of detectives. "Management apparently chose to close down and have everybody leave the restaurant. People were leaving when this shooting happened."
A group was attending a party in advance of a more formal anniversary celebration scheduled for later Saturday, authorities said. The couple, Danyell Mackin, 30, and his wife, Tanisha, married in Texas a year ago and had returned to celebrate with Buffalo-area friends and family, authorities said.
Danyell Mackin was killed. His wife was not hurt.
Police identified the other three victims as Willie McCaa III, 26, Shawnita McNeil, 27, and Tiffany Wilhite, 32.
Could this be another case of "all those black folks look alike to white folk?"
And what is with a group attending a party in advance of a more formal anniversary that was at the party until 02:30 AM? Who schedules a formal anniversiary celebration for 03:00 AM?
Tragic story for sure, can't wait to read the final outcome..,.

Mosque remarks not an endorsement: Obama
U.S. President Barack Obama clarified on Saturday that he was not endorsing the idea of putting a mosque near Ground Zero in a speech the previous night, but rather supporting the right of the facility to be there.
"I was not commenting and I will not comment on the wisdom of making a decision to put a mosque there," he said during his family trip to Florida. "I was commenting very specifically on the right that people have that dates back to our founding."
His intention "was simply to let people know what I thought," Obama said. "Which was that in this country we treat everybody equally and in accordance with the law, regardless of race, regardless of religion."
Whoa Barack baby, that is some serious back peddling. He more or less says that they have every right to build their camel molesting facility, but not so close to the hallowed ground of zero.
"Equally regardless of race, regardless of religion". That is a fine concept indeed. And I'm sure that there are numerous catholic churches opening up in downtown Riyadh. I'm sure their priests have a hunger for small brown boys.
Talk about embracing your enemy. Keep your friends close, and your enemies even closer.
And they are part of the beautiful people of this planet.

Obama endorses mosque near Ground Zero
U.S. President Barack Obama on Friday endorsed building a mosque near Ground Zero, saying the country's founding principles demanded no less.
"As a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practise their religion as anyone else in this country," Obama said, weighing in for the first time on the controversy.
"That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community centre on private property in lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances," he said. "This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakable."
Obama made the comments at an annual dinner in the White House state dining room celebrating the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
The White House had not previously taken a stand on the mosque, which would be part of a $100-million Islamic centre to be built in lower Manhattan, two blocks from where nearly 3,000 people perished when hijacked jets slammed into the World Trade Center towers on Sept. 11, 2001.
Well why not? Dubya more or less invited those Arabs into the country to learn how to fly jets. Makes one wonder why they didn't take lessons in Saudi Arabia, it would seem to make more sense. Possibly because the down south flying lessons schools would take anybody as long as they paid up front. Ah, good old democracy and the free market.
Sure they have a right to build their shacks of religion wherever they want, but you would think they would show a little restraint and not build 2 blocks from ground zero. After all, the US isn't building a southern snake charming baptist church in either Irag or Afghanistan near their ground zeros. Wait a tic, their ground zeros is more or less the whole country after being bombed repeatedly by NATO air forces and artillery.
I, for one, would like to see what would happen to the Mormons if they fly a jet into something in New York!
Peace, out..

Abdullah Khadr released after court ruling
Abdullah Khadr, accused by the U.S. government of procuring weapons on behalf of al-Qaeda, is a free man after an Ontario court ordered his release Wednesday from a Toronto detention centre.
Khadr, the elder brother of Omar Khadr, the only Canadian held at the U.S. military prison in Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, was originally detained by Pakistani authorities before his arrest by RCMP at the request of U.S. officials upon his return to Canada in 2005.
U.S. authorities paid a $500,000 US bounty to Pakistani police to hold him for 14 months before he was returned to Toronto.
He has been detained without bail since Dec. 23, 2005, while the courts dealt with the U.S. request to extradite him.
Speaking to reporters on the courthouse steps, Khadr was relieved by the ruling. "I think this is going to be a new beginning for me in life," he said. "What can I say? I want to start new now. I don't want to think about it anymore."
I don't know what to say about this post. On one hand I'm outraged that a possible terrorist was released. On the other hand I'm always suspect when the US detains somebody. $500,000 US bounty to hold him for 14 months? What the heck is all that about?
I would like to know what evidence the US had against him. He may be innocent, as his younger brother may also be. That they have been detained this long without a trial is nonsense.
I hope Abdullah does start a new life; a peaceful life, and this experience has not pushed him over the line as a minor terrorist supporter into a radical one.
History will tell....
