What really happened in Bosnia?

NATO and the Western mass media told the public that the Bosnian Serbs had a racist and genocidal ideology, and committed atrocities.

Did they?

But it was Alija Izetbegovic, the leader of a minority Bosnian Muslim faction, the one that NATO supported, who wrote a book calling for the slaughter of infidels so that a Muslim takeover could install an Islamist theocracy in Bosnia (documented in Part 1, below).

This Alija Izetbegovic may have participated in the extermination of Serbs and Jews during WWII. After all, he founded at this time the Young Muslims in Bosnia, in imitation of the Muslim Brotherhood, an organization that was closely allied with the German Nazis. HIR does not have materials to positively document Izetbegovic's participation in the WWII Nazi massacres in Bosnia. What is well documented, however, is that in the 1990s Alija Izetbegovic proudly recreated the SS Handzar Division that the Mufti of Jerusalem Hajj Amin al Husseini had earlier created, for the German Nazis, out of tens of thousands of Bosnian Muslim volunteers (documented in Part 2). This SS Handzar Division eagerly participated in the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of Serbian, Jewish, and Roma (Gypsy) civilians. It is not unreasonable to propose that if Alija Izetbegovic was proud enough of the WWII SS Handzar Division to recreate it in the 1990s, then perhaps he was a Handzar soldier during the World War.

    1. Hi Dado,
Sorry it took so long for this reply, but I'm pretty new to this blog thing.
Let's see, I was only there for 13 months of the war, but have good friends that were there since the beginning, and told me their stories. Some favoured Serbs, some Muslim, and a few Croats, and then there is a bunch of guys who didn't care and disliked everyone. I discovered early on my first tour that things weren't as they seemed in Bosnia. We were told before we left Canada that the Serbs were aggressive, and the press were always calling the Serbs as the ones who started the war. So we were fairly certain that the Serbs were the bad guys. What we discovered is all 3 factions were composed of arrogant power tripping men. That is the military guys. The common folks that I met were all great people, and remarkably similar. I really couldn't tell what ethnicity they were, nobody forced any opinions against me.
      So why am I pro-Serb?
Mostly because of the raw deal they were dealt by the western powers including the western press. The Serbs weren't the bad guys, but they weren't the nice guys either. And the same goes for the Croats and the Muslims (Bosniaks).
The whole conflict was orchestrated by crooked politicians. On one hand the US were enforcing a weapons ban in the Balkans, and on the other hand the CIA were flying in black Hercules full of weapons and ammo for the Muslims into airfields, including the new air strip north of
      Visoko.
As for the Jewish holocaust, that was a true form of actual genocide. Srebrenica was not. Yes the Serbs attacked and killed lots of Muslim men, but it wasn't genocide. Again an orchestrated act to gain support for NATO air strikes.
Any hoo, thanks for your comment, and sleep warm Dado.
