This is a comment on the story from a Brent McGillis:

When a left wing voter being speaks up, the Right Wing Extremist looney fringe starts barking out that we are obviously uneducated and uninformed. When in fact, the opposite is true. Right wing Metards tend to be ignorant, stupid and very uninformed on the issues. There is absolutely NO evidence to prove that private delivery of ANY service is cheaper than government services. Bankrupt Bush/Cheney America has proven that beyond ANY reasonable doubt. Alberta has proven that with its Health Care delivery, the most expensive in Canada with the worst waiting times, highest lack of access, worst patient satisfaction and Highest Admin costs. I write about it in my blog, that government based on making sure only Neo-Con Contractors make all the dough, does not equal proper delivery of any Services(Bush/Katrina fiasco-Case in point). Hellberta in particular cannot brag about it's health care delivery. I was injured at work, WCB refuses to acknowledge anything, they have not paid for my medications for over 3-1/2 yrs. I live on welfare, they pay for my meds 500+/month. I have been waiting for a ortho spinal surgeon for 11 mths. 2 years for a MRI. These are cleverly disguised TAXES for 40 years. Neo-Con governments just download all the costs onto taxpayers who are to dumb to see it. Same as the US. The funny part is that they are screwing their own supporters with a big +C. Exactly the same BS has been sold here, Hospitals have been handed over to the private sector without even a single vote. A vote for Conservatives is a vote for repressive fascist governance. Injured workers are the Sicko stars in Canada. Obama is the bravest, workhorse human you will see in our lifetime. His instills greater achievement for all of mankind. He deserves the NOBEL. Go Barack!

Take it easy on the welfare supplied grass dude. Why don't you move to Russia and live in an utopian society. Oh wait, they already discovered that living in a failed state doesn't work. I'm not saying you are wrong in your opinions, just try not to be so radical in your beliefs! I find it hard to believe that Canada is divided between two major parties; "right wing" Conservatives and "left wing" Liberals. Are the people of Canada that different, like to be wired for either 110V or 220V? I firmly believe that Canada is at least 90% straight down the middle, and the other 10% is made up of gun registry nitwits, anti-abortion fucktards and anyone with the last name of Slade. It's no wonder that the NDP and Green party get so many votes; plenty of people are sick of the two main parties taking such opposite strageties that exclude many good initiatives.

At this time, may I comment on the Bloq Quebecois (BQ)? Gilles Duceppe and his cronies should be put on a ship with a one way passage to France. Separate from Canada? Give me a break. Why don't you folk celebrate the fact that you are a french speaking province in the best country in the world (like I believe that 90% of the common folk of Quebec thinks) and not be so bitter all the time? Hmmm, I wonder and will look this up - what is the population of Quebec? What is the total of the rest of Canada that speaks french? I'm not talking about percentages, just total numbers. I bet you it is not equal, but I think it is pretty close. AND for the love of Tony Bennett, please please please include Celine on that boat to France. The best part of the slow boat to France angle is that I have been in contact with the last remaining German U-Boat that is operating in the North Atlantic. It still has a full complement of weapons and torpedoes, and after 60 odd years of bobbing around the Atlantic Ocean, these guys should know how to use them. They are not Nazi fanatics by any means, they just have the natural hatred of the lizard tongues that the rest of Europe has. I have set up a digital recorded message to my radio transmitter, which means that the co-ordinates and timing of the frog leg express are being transmitted every 30 minutes. This is neccessary because those 80 and 90 year old dingbats can remember anything that is over 25 minutes old. It is a good plan, yes...

What was I talking about??... Oh yes US health care plan... let me take a clip from the afore mentioned CBC news story:

"The legislation would extend coverage to an estimated 32 million uninsured Americans, bar insurers from denying coverage on the basis of existing medical conditions and cut federal deficits by an estimated $138 billion US over a decade."

Yay for the land of the free down south of us, they are going to save $138 billion..

"Congressional analysts estimate the cost of the two bills combined would be $940 billion over 10 years."

Wait a tic, they are going to save $138 billion over the next decade by spending $940 billion? What kind of math is this? But wait I am forgetting,,, it is all OK as long as the trailer park trash and the ghetto trash get health insurance.
There must be a GOD, because this surely means that some powerful overlord is looking over the great US of A.!
